KARTING - OWNER DRIVERS ANNOUNCEMENT

From Saturday 1st April 2006 there will be some alterations to arrangements for use of the Karting Circuit for owner/drivers on all Saturdays.

We have just arranged a contract to provide regular private parties with karting sessions on Saturdays. These sessions will involve up to 12 drivers using our karts for 30 minute races at 3 times during each Saturday. In between these 3 races there will be just over an hour for owner/drivers to use the circuit as normal.

The first race will be at approximately 9.30 until 10.15, then 11.30 to 12.15 and finally 1.30 to 2.15. As soon as the races are complete and the competitors have cleared the circuit, owner/drivers will be able to use the circuit until marshalls indicate otherwise.

No geared karts allowed, automatics only.

Opening hours for the Karting circuit are 10am to 4pm/dusk and the charge for owner/drivers is £35.00 per kart. (Maximum 2 drivers per kart)

The circuit is open to owner/drivers Monday to Friday unless there are corporate events taking place. To be sure of availability of the circuit, ring before setting out on 01638 750496.

WILDTRACKS ARRIVE & DRIVE

The WildTracks Karting Centre is open every day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day for you to come and experience the thrill of Karting, Quad bike trekking & Rallykarting.

Weekends and school holidays are particularly busy so we recommend that you phone before setting off to ensure that the circuit is available. From time to time there are also race meetings, corporate events or maintenance requirements which could mean a wasted journey.

£17.50 for 20 minutes (10 minutes on each)

GROUP KARTING EVENTS

SPRINT RACES

Sprint races include 4 qualifying laps, trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Minimum of 7 drivers and a maximum of 20 drivers. Prices are per person.

ENDURANCE RACES

Endurance Races include 3 qualifying laps, trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Prices are per team.

1 hour race £80 (min of 6 teams - 1-2 drivers per team)
1.5 hour race £100 (min of 6 teams - 1-2 drivers per team)
2 hours race £120 (min of 6 teams - 1-2 drivers per team)
2.5 hours race £140 (min of 6 teams - 3 drivers per team)
3 hours race £160 (min of 6 teams - 3 drivers per team)

GRAND PRIX

Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place drivers of final race. Prices are per person.

50 lap Grand Prix is approx. 1 hour duration. Each driver gets 2 x 10 lap races plus 3 qualifying laps.
100 lap Grand Prix is approx. 2 hours duration. Each driver gets 2 x 20 laps races plus 3 qualifying laps.

Groups will be split into teams. All competitors participate in 2 races. Top 5 drivers from each team participate in the final for trophies.

50 lap Grand Prix £35 (minimum 16 drivers - maximum 40 drivers)
100 lap Grand Prix £50 (minimum 18 drivers - maximum 40 drivers)

WILDTRACKS YOUNGSTER'S PARTY

Celebrate your youngster's birthday with a special event.

Minimum of 6 participants. Age ranges 6 to 11 years and 12 years plus.

Party pack with soft drink included in the prices.

Full safety briefing given. Helmets and gloves provided. Race suits provided for karting.
Please wear sensible shoes, no open-toe sandals. You may get muddy!!

WILDTRACKS MULTI-ACTIVITY EVENTS

We have a variety of activities available to celebrate a Stag or Hen do, Birthday, Anniversary or any other sort of special day. Choose your own package from the list below.

Helmets, gloves and waterproofs provided. Full safety briefing given. Please wear sensible shoes. All activities are one hour duration.

Minimum number in the party is 10.

Min ages: Clays, archery & crossbows - 14 years
Min ages: Off-roading - 17 years
Min ages: Quads & Circuit Karting - 12 years

MOTOCROSS PRACTICE EQUIPMENT

All riders taking part in practice sessions must have, as a minimum, helmet, goggles, boots and gloves.

4-stroke bikes must be fitted with FMF Q pipes or Enduro spec silencers.

2-stroke bikes must be fitted with standard silencer.

Noise levels to 96db. On the spot noise and equipment checks will be carried out during all sessions. Offending bikes will not be allowed to continue.

No PIT BIKES are allowed on the site at any time. Any riders using PIT BIKES will be asked to leave without refund of fees.
